The folks working on Rocket Rain, Anggun Priambodo’s feature film, are on a roll. After recently launching their website, publishing their trailer, and releasing the first Rocket Rain-inspired music video, they are now getting ready to officially release “Original Soundtracks & Music Inspired by Rocket Rain”, filled with, you probably guessed it, the film’s original soundtrack and music inspired by the film. In a press release written by Harlan Boer, the A&R of Sekuntum Records and the man in charge of gathering the music for the film, it was announced that the official release for Rocket Rain’s soundtrack will be released this friday at Brightspot Market (happening at Lotte Avenue).

The album will feature music in Rocket Rain by White Shoes & The Couples Company, Zeke Khaseli, Y. Irfani, and the film’s scoring which includes a duet by oomleo and Maya Norman. The musicians contributing their Rocket Rain-inspired songs are Jirapah, Frigi Frigi, Sajama Cut, the Kuda, Harlan Boer with Charita Utami, and David Tarigan (who, along with Citra from the Jonis and Ramondo Gascoro, will go under the name Dick Tamimi & The Friendly Love). Get yourself to Brightspot Market to purchase the first copies!
