Buai (Udara) began from the idea surrounding the mystery of the body (the small universe), where the body’s movements become one with the movement of the great universe. Buai (Udara) presents swaying movements inspired by Tari Buai-buai (Minangkabau traditional dance) and Shuffle (popular dance).

To date, Indra Zubir has created more than 25 choreographic works. Together with Indra Zubir’s Dance, he has staged experimental contemporary dance works inspired by Minangkabau traditional dance, modern dance techniques, and popular dance genres.
