No we’re not talking about the film written by Sorkin, this Social Network is a short film made by Korean motion designer, Beomseok Yang. It is a little social reflection film about life that begins and ends with social networks and how the quality of our virtual lives is based on how many friends and followers we have.

This three-minute piece shows us what our society looks like now. We just have to have our phones! Our friends are not the ones who are in front of us; they’re the ones connected through our accounts. But even if you meet those people in real life, you will be still using your phone. You’ll be checking in where you guys are and taking pictures of what you ordered at this or that restaurant.

However, whether we like it or not, this how our society is becoming. The best way to take advantage of the situation is not to be too sucked in into the virtual social media world or you’ll bump into people while you’re walking like what happened to the character in this film.
