For all reggae enthusiasts in Jakarta, Jamaica’s Conkarah will be performing alongside Ras Muhamad, Pasukan Lima Jari, and more this weekend at 365 Eco Bar in Kemang. If you are curious about what Conkarah will bring in his performance, take a listen to the following mix created by Asia Afrika Soundsystem. Titled Deh Pon Stereo Vol.1, Conkarah brings his own original sound. According to a press release we received from Asia Afrika Soundsystem (who will also perform this sunday), Conkarah fuses reggae with dubstep, creating his own sound titled “Reggaestep”.

In this particular mix, the Jamaican artist has teamed up with Asia Afrika Soundsystem. Apparently the first collaboration of its kind, Deh Pon Stereo not only introduces Conkarah’s style of reggae, but also features a collaboration between himself, Ras Muhamad, and producer Wizzow.
