Speak Percussion creates a surreal world of music with different electronic and musical equipments,played in an innovative style. In Circuit, they will perform four contemporary percussion pieces; from three Australian composers and one Danish composer.
Speak Percussion is a group of percussion players based in Australia that has been performing for more than 13 years. Speak Percussion collaborates with multidisciplinary artists and explores a number of fields: percussion, architecture, gastronomy, installation, building instruments, astronomy and dance.
This percussion group has won several art awards, including the Melbourne Fringe Festival Best Music Award (2012).
Speak Percussion will also do a workshop on how to play percussion music on Wednesday, September 24, 2014, 08:00 PM.
