“Home Coming for Upcoming” is a mini conference on Village Revitalization, which basically the wish of some alumni of 1st ICVR/9th ICDS to reunited, also to prepare the 2nd ICVR next 2016 which will be held at Japan. But since last 2014 ICVR initiates lots of various activities which are done by the alumni, it therefore develops more links. This gathering event is now made public to give a chance for any interested parties to be our participants. We also invite speakers from various background of studies to give a presentation or workshop under the theme of Village Revitalization. All of these activities will be held at Kandangan, Temanggung, Central Java. The participants will be living at Spedagi unique homestays, enjoy the village breeze, local people hospitality and local culinary.

This activity will also include the launching of “Pasar Papringan” (Papringan Market), a market under the bamboo groove which sells local nature production including culinary products, handicrafts made by local industries, also agriculture products. This market is a result of bamboo groove preservation by upholding the economic value of local people and will be a routine event every 35 days (selapan) held in the same location.
