On this very special episode of Emo Night, we are joined by our first international guests from Wuhan, China. On their first trip to Jakarta, Xu Bo (Vocalist), Li Lixin (Bassist), Wang Bo (Guitarist), Zheng Zili (Drummer) and Li Ke (Manager) of Chinese Football enlightened us on what it’s like being one of the only emo bands in China. From the lack of community in the independent music community to Chinese youths’ newest music trends, Chinese Football shared some insight on what China’s music scene is really like.

Nostalgia has become a key phrase in the entertainment industry. Most recently, we have seen the resurgence of Emo and its glory days. Through that, we are invited to relive the early 2000s where myspace, tumblr and your bangs were the most important things in the world. With more and more Emo themed events and parties resurfacing, this podcast is a fun and casual celebration of Emo and our nostalgic youth.
