Nidji is band’s name that is familiar to most, if not all, Indonesians. After its inception in 2002 Jakarta band quickly found itself gaining popularity nationwide . Their music have been featured in the popular TV Show – Heroes, and they have also worked on film soundtracks including the critically acclaimed Laskar Pelangi. Randy (or as the band’s wikipedia mentions: Run-D) is the keyboardist for the group. Closely following and enjoying electronic music, he is known in Nidji to be the go to person for the genre, and you can feel his influence on the synth-tinged songs the group creates. Randy visited Whiteboard Journal’s HQ on a cloudy thursday afternoon and told to our host Bergas stories about 7 songs that he loves. Enjoy the show.
