In partnership with the Indonesian Nature Film Society (INFIS) and AMAN, Indonesia’s main indigenous organisation representing 17 million people, we are launching a series of film premieres, exhibitions and debates all exploring a vital question, who is protecting our forests?

What’s going on and where?

10 – 18th March – Antara Galeri, Jakarta – Film, photography, music and discussions with special guests

15 – 19th March – Sorong, West Papua – alongside AMAN’s 16th annual conference, we take the festival on the road premiering new films and connecting with Indonesia’s indigenous leaders

25 – 26th March – Toraja, Sulawesi – hosted by the unique Raja community we will be showing regional films, with music by Tindoki

28 – 30th March – Bogor – we’re closing the festival informally with an open house. Hosted by the INFIS and Rumah Kopi Ranin it will be a showcase for indigenous handicrafts and a space for informal discussions in the lead up to the Paris Climate Change Conference.whiteboardjournal, logo
