Maurice Fulton is an American producer, DJ, and musician. He started DJ-ing in the early ‘80s, and he went by the name ‘DR Scratch’ during his earliest days of DJ-ing. During an interview he explained that his musical roots were originated from funk, which led him to hip-hop, garage, and then house music eventually. Fulton was also a part of the New York City dance culture in the early ‘90s – which gave his most recents sets an authentic New York clubbing heritage.
