What:

The Naked Director

Description:

Sampai sekarang belum nonton “Narcos”.

What:

H.A.N.D. MIX 002 – Dea Barandana

Description:

What:

Idles: NPR Music Tiny Desk Concert

Description:

“Just about the loudest, most fun and most raucous Tiny Desk Concert in memory,” described Bob Boilen on IDLES’ Tiny Desk session – and I fully agree.

What:

Thirteen Mini-Series

Description:

So, this show tells the story of Ivy Moxam, a kidnapping victim who escaped her captor after 13 years. I wouldn’t be surprised if Jodie Comer was considered as Villanelle because of her performance as this character. There are moments when you see how Ivy’s childlikeness translates to Villanelle. Although all seems well and good, not everything is as it seems. Especially when you find out that apparently, she was allowed out of the house, left alone, but willingly came back to her captor. Why? Just watch.

What:

Yebba – Evergreen

Description:

Last week, I spent nearly my entire drive home replaying this song over and over again. Yebba’s voice, the sparse musical arrangement, the gospel flavors, I mean… *chills*. When the choir crooned, “Oh I can’t see the forest for the trees / Will you wait for me / My evergreen”, my bones kinda gave in a little.

According to the omniscient source of knowledge that is the Youtube Comment Section, Yebba changed her name from Abbey after her mother passed away from suicide, right when she had just released her soon-to-be breakout performance. This song, “Evergreen” is sort of an homage to her mom. I wish her the best, I hope she continues to do well, and I like the overalls she wears.
