Citing late 1990s emo pioneers like Jimmy Eat World, Get Up Kids and American Football as inspiration, Chinese Football specializes in a potent guitar-bass-driven wistful indie rock sound, mixed brain-washed guitar riffs with Mandarin lyrics, Chinese Football devoted to expressing the fantasy of youth and its frustration.
They shared stage with bands like Caspian, The Ataris, Tricot, and lately as a supporting act in three cities for American Football’s Asia tour.
