Tisna Sanjaya will display his latest art works created especially for the exhibition at Erasmus Huis Jakarta.

Tisna artwork is based on his personal philosophy which is permeated with Sundanese, local traditional values en enriched with values of the cultural rituals that encircle him in the midst of those too quickly changing times. His art is strongly aligned with the environment and the human side of the cultural traditions taught to him by the ancestors and his environment.

He will present art installations and performance art using a variety of common, everyday, found objects and materials. There’ll be a performance of traditional ronggeng gunung by Bi Raspi from Ciamis, an art form that combines dance, music and song. The sinden, the singer, of the gamelan orchestra invites the public in her mellifluous voice to take part in the dancing, the ngibing.whiteboardjournal, logo
